Tesla Ends Cybertruck Production Mid-2027, Raises Prices
Tesla will wind down Cybertruck output at Giga Texas around mid-2027 to expand Cybercab production and has increased U.S. prices up to 10 percent.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said on November 6 that production of the Cybertruck will end around the middle of 2027. The move frees factory space at Giga Texas for higher Cybercab output.
U.S. prices rose immediately after the announcement. The Premium AWD now starts at $92,490 and the Cyberbeast at $102,490, while orders for the Dual Motor AWD trim are paused.
Tesla reported 8,295 deliveries in the Other Models category in Q3 2026. Low sales and the need to simplify FSD development across fewer vehicle types contributed to the decision.
“Cybertruck was an incredible technology development platform and lives on through Cybercab.”
